I recall a few years ago, the conversation about how much a Facebook Like is Worth was actually getting some traction and there was a considerable amount of buzz. Then, people started to game the system and value of a Facebook Like started to get diluted. Why am I asking this question then? Well, one reason for me personally to ask the question is that the Facebook ad platform (Ad Manager, Facebook for Business) is now a digital advertising vehicle in which we can accurately measure ROI, we know concretely the value of an ad and in many case the value of a Like that is acquired from an ad!
This Facebook post was shared to a local group and gained some consider attention and momentum. Here are some of my unofficial observations;
Kind of an interesting set of answers. It appears that people and entrepreneurs still consider a Facebook Like of value. I guess using similar logic we can agree that a comment and a share (more direct engagement) would have even more value than a Facebook Like. Going into the exercise I completely expected everyone to take the $100 however what this proved to me is that the value of a Facebook Like may be in process of reincarnation!
